MMIW BROOMFIELD NATIVE ART MARKET

I’m super excited to announce my first-ever self-hosted event! I’ve worked extremely hard at past events to help run, promote, and figure out the logistics. All of that effort helped me figure out my idea for my debut event: the MMIW Broomfield Native Art Market! It’s a fundraiser event to help support indigenous artists across the Front Range, and bring the beautiful visuals to my home city, Broomfield, CO! Centered around the awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit relatives, this market creates space for Indigenous artists to share their work while honoring stories that must never be forgotten.

Broomfield Council on the Arts & Humanities is serving as my fiscal sponsor, and Broomfield Sister Cities: Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes (OK) is supporting me in bringing this event to Broomfield! With it being a fundraiser event, in place of a vendor fee, 10% of profits will be going to Not Our Native Daughters (who will also be attending and having a booth) and 5% to the Broomfield Council on the Arts and Humanities to help bring further art events and opportunities to my city!
