NIWOT NATIVE ART MARKET
Apashee Art was honored to be part of the Niwot Native Art Market on March 8, 2026!
A vibrant gathering of Indigenous artists and community held at historic Niwot Hall. This intimate, curated market brought together both traditional and contemporary Native creators, offering everything from fine art and beadwork to textiles and jewelry.
Being present at this market meant more than just showing work…it was about connection. Visitors had the chance to meet artists face-to-face, hear the stories behind the pieces, and support Indigenous creatives directly. This is very important in a city named after Chief Niwot, yet lacks indigenous members in it’s day to day community.
The day was rooted in community, culture, and storytelling. Sharing space with other Native artists and engaging with people who value Indigenous art made it a meaningful and inspiring experience. Events like this continue to uplift Native voices and create space for both emerging and established artists to be seen and supported.
